Ready to let it go?
Sometimes you don't want to consign something. You don't want to wait for it to sell, keep track of it, or wonder what it might eventually bring.
You just want it gone — and you'd like to get paid for it.
Fable & Flair purchases clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories, and other interesting finds outright. If what you have is a good fit for us, we'll make you an offer.
You get paid. We take it from there.
What We Buy
Our inventory is intentionally eclectic, so there isn't a magic list of labels we're looking for.
We're interested in designer, contemporary, vintage, and simply really good stuff.
We consider:
- Clothing and outerwear
- Shoes and boots
- Handbags
- Jewelry
- Accessories
- Vintage pieces
- Designer merchandise
- Unique, unusual, or hard-to-find items
Condition matters, but so do quality, craftsmanship, style, desirability, and resale potential.

Have a Lot? Even Better.
You don't have to bring us one piece at a time.
We also consider bulk purchases and larger collections, including:
- Closet cleanouts
- Estate and downsizing collections
- Inherited wardrobes and jewelry
- Reseller inventory
- Boutique or business inventory
- Large lots of clothing, shoes, handbags, or accessories
- Collections that simply need a new home
If you've found yourself looking at a room, closet, storage unit, or stack of boxes thinking, I do not want to list all of this myself, we should probably talk.
How It Works
1. Tell us what you have.
Send us some basic information and, when practical, a few photos. For large collections, don't worry about documenting every single piece—we can figure out the best way to evaluate it together.
2. We take a look.
We'll review what you have and let you know whether we'd like to pursue an outright purchase, consignment, or possibly a combination of the two.
3. We make an offer.
If we'd like to purchase your items, we'll make an offer based on what we're willing to pay for the merchandise as a whole or for the individual pieces we've selected.
4. You decide.
There is no obligation to accept our offer. If it works for you, great. If it doesn't, that's okay too.
5. We pay you and take it from there.
Once a purchase is complete, the merchandise belongs to Fable & Flair. We handle the researching, cleaning or repairs when needed, photographing, listing, storing, selling, packing, shipping—and everything else that comes afterward.
Outright Sale or Consignment?
Not sure which makes more sense? You don't have to decide before you contact us.
An outright sale generally means less money per item, but more speed, certainty and convenience: you know what you're getting and don't have to wait for the merchandise to sell.
Consignment generally offers greater earning potential, but payment comes only after an item sells.
And sometimes the best answer is both.
We may look at a collection and offer to purchase some pieces outright, recommend consigning others, and pass on things that simply aren't a good fit for Fable & Flair.
We'll explain what we're proposing so you can decide what works for you.
A Little Honesty About Our Offers
When Fable & Flair buys something outright, we're purchasing it for resale.
That means our offer will be less than the amount we believe an item may eventually sell for. Our purchase price has to account for the time, work, expenses, risk, storage, marketplace fees, possible returns, and sometimes months of waiting between buying an item and finding its next owner.
If maximizing your eventual proceeds is your priority, consignment may be the better choice.
If getting paid and getting your space back sounds considerably more appealing, selling outright may be exactly what you're looking for.
We'd rather be transparent about that difference from the beginning.
Good Things Shouldn't Go to Waste.
Part of why we started Fable & Flair was the sheer number of quality things that still have years of useful life left in them.
A closet cleanout doesn't have to become a trip to the landfill. An inherited collection doesn't have to become an overwhelming project. And something you no longer wear doesn't have to stop being worth something to someone else.
